San Francisco based designer and artist specializing in works related to music, literature, and the stage. Kroboth has designed sets and costumes for musicals, ballet, and opera. He has illustrated books, and done the artwork for magazines, album covers, theater posters and filmstrips.
Kroboth’s work has been exhibited in the United States, Canada, Europe, and Russia. In 1986 he was awarded the Kalevala Medal by the Government of Finland for his illustrations of the Kalevala, the national epic.
